How can I access the emulator on a computer?

Our emulator is available online as well as offline. Our offline emulator does not require installation and is available on all operating systems (Windows, Mac OS and Linux). To obtain the offline emulator:

  • Go to our download page and click Download the emulator.
  • Unzip the downloaded .zip file. It contains the numworks-simulator.html file.

To launch the emulator, just double-click the numworks-simulator.html file. It will open in your favorite web browser.

Although the emulator is opened from a web browser, it does not require an internet connection.

The emulator has a full screen mode for better visibility in the classroom as well as a screen capture option to prepare your lessons.

How can I access the emulator on a smartphone or tablet?

Our emulator is also available for free on Android and iOS for use on a laptop or tablet.
